“The Big Day” indeed.  I have been really struggling all week in not attempting to ride “Playboy” and it payed off.  Today he told me he was ready for the next step.  He was waiting at the gate for me this morning, he saddled up like an old pro, he basically said “Are you gonna ride me, or what?”  So I listened and in the saddle I went.  I flexed him both ways, moved his hind quarters both ways, and then moved him out.  WOW, WOW, WOW. unbelievable.  It happened so fast Cindy couldn’t get the camera out fast enough but we still got lots of videos.  He had a little trouble moving forward consistently so Maria jumped in the round pen and directed him from the ground.. Not once did I feel him get nervous or the feeling that he might buck.  As a matter of fact his ears stayed forward the entire time.  What a great feeling I have tonight as I type this.  I hope you enjoy watching the videos as much as we had making them today.
