My
11 year old daughter, Kelsea attended a two day seminar
that Heath conducted this past weekend. We own a pony, that
was basically consuming hay and never rode or given much
attention. My daughter would go out and brush her and walk
her around, but would never ride her without my being there
at all times. I knew she just needed to gain confidence
and Heath gave her confidence and so much more. He is awesome
with children and adults and communicates on many different
levels. My daughter has not stopped talking about how much
she enjoyed his classes and the day after the final day
of classes, I found her in her room crying. I asked her
what was wrong and she replied she was sad she would never
be able to ride and work with Heath again. I assured her
she was wrong and that we would most definitely work with
Heath again!! Since the classes, my daughter is very confindent
and comfortable working with the pony and is not afraid
to work with her on her own!!
Thank you Heath and Tonia for all you
do!!

I heard about Heath Marshall
from my sister Sandy Atencio. I raise Paints and Appaloosa's
in the South West corner of Nebraska. I have used
many trainers in our area but many of them have a
negative out look on Foundation Appaloosas. If I sell
a horse that has 30 to 60 days worth of training,
I want the new owner to feel they have a well started
horse. After selling at least 2 of my paints with
this amount of riding, I was told by the new owners
they could not ride them. To me this puts a black
mark on my name as a breeder. With any horse, I feel
that they need the right start.
After talking to my sister Sandy
and telling her of my concerns, I felt it was worth
the drive to get our 2 year old foundation Appaloosa,
Eagles Lacey Snow, trained by Heath. I was not able
to go and visit Lacey because of the 7 hour drive
but I was so pleased to see pictures of Heath and
my sister riding Lacey. After a month I went to pick
up Lacey and was asked if I wanted to go for a ride.
Well of course I did and riding in the mountains was
wonderful. Lacey is still green, but I feel she got
a good start.
I normally ride a young horse
some times up to 2 years before I let younger unseasoned
riders on the horse, but after 30 days of training,
Lacey is safe to do this with.

Here is a picture of our Easter day
ride and hunt for Easter eggs. The horses where all great
and the ride was so much fun.

I also will be taking Lacey's 2 year
old sister, Joyful Eagle Dudette, this year for Heath to
train. Even with gas prices as high as they are, I know
I will have another well started horse to ride or be able
to sell. Thanks Heath!

My
name is Anny and this is my story. When I got Jesse, he
was seven years old and not broke. He bucked off every rider
and trainer who got on his back including me! Everyone had
given up on him, and I almost did too. My husband happened
to run into Heath Marshall at Mc Donalds one day, saw his
advertisement on his truck about "colt starting and
problem solving". After Heath came to our house and
met Jesse, he made no promises but said any horse can be
worked with. We brought Jesse to Heath's place and after
only 2 weeks Heath was riding him and very much in control.
A few days later, I was on my horse and felt Jesse was a
different animal. He was calm and eager to please me. I
was in Heaven! Heath also showed me many techniques to continue
with Jesse's success. It has now been over six months and
we haven't looked back. Jesse keeps improving. Heath keeps
in touch and is very helpful and encouraging. Whenever I
have any questions, I know he is just a phone call away.
This has been a very positive experience for us. Thanks
Heath and Tonia.
Sincerely, Anny Schrager.
Heath has an amazing way with horses. He has
been training my very temperamental Arabian mare, and his
consistently patient, gentle style is something I wish every
horse and rider had the opportunity to experience. He truly
does connect with these animals, communicates well with
the rider, and gets real results. I would highly recommend
anyone who wants a real partnership with their horse to
contact Heath.
Sincerely,
Dawn Adams
